Update to JAM Code of Conduct re: esports betting

Tue 23rd Feb 2016 - 12:51pm Gaming

Due to recent additions to the esports betting landscape in Oceania JAM Gaming has updated its’ internal Code of Conduct to ensure our competitive players uphold the highest standard of professionalism, honesty and sportsmanship.

Esports betting policy

JAM members in competitive teams are prohibited from placing wagers on events from their respective esports scenes. This includes bets made personally and by proxy.

Example: A contracted CS:GO competitive player may not bet on an Oceanic CS:GO match in any capacity (even if they are not involved in the match directly). The same player is permitted to bet on a European or American match for whom they do not have influence.
